CA Purna Chandra Das is a Chartered Accountant with 25 years of extensive post-qualification experience across project finance, audit, strategic management, operational oversight, and procurement. He has developed expertise in diverse sectors, including steel and sugar, showcasing his adaptability and leadership.
Prior to joining KCP and Associates, CA Das practiced in Delhi for over five years before relocating to East Africa, where he spent nearly two decades as CFO for a multi-sector conglomerate headquartered in Uganda. In this role, he was pivotal in executing large-scale projects, alongside overseeing comprehensive financial operations across Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Currently, he consults for a Delhi-based company involved in a significant sugar project for an investor in Kenya, valued at approximately USD 15.48 million (INR 130 crore).
CA Das is also actively engaged in social initiatives, contributing to the PM Relief Fund, CM Relief Fund, CRPF (Pulwama), Shri Ram Janmabhumi Trust, and educational institutions like Anantapur High School and M.E. School. He has organized medical camps and supported local temples, reflecting his commitment to community welfare. Additionally, he served as a trustee at the century-old Sri Sanatan Dharma Mandal in Kampala, Uganda, which is recognized as a world heritage site, further solidifying his dedication to philanthropic causes both in India and abroad.
